Spaulding Craft, Inc. is a national firm of structural fabrication builders, designers, working with architects, planners and contractors specializing in a wide range of commercial, corporate and public sector projects.
We work on iconic and new architecture, exterior applications, Cad design and FRP fabrication to create long-lasting, environmentally friendly and structurally sound components of a building’s architecture.
ARCHITECTURE
Arches, columns, domes and spires define skylines. Whether built in previous centuries, or undergoing modern renovations, iconic buildings link the past to the present. When it comes to buildings, iconic structures are game changers — representing nations, religions and economies. They interlace past societies with current cultures.
Many architects throughout history have advocated using materials to their strengths and leaving them exposed to communicate their nature. From the stone pillars of the Parthenon to the concrete shells of Felix Candela, this has remained a common ingredient in the design of iconic buildings regardless of context, program or scale.
EXTERIOR DESIGN
Exterior design refers to the physical architecture and organizational elements of the outside-facing components of a building.
Exterior design provides the first impression of your business. Attention to detail and clean, thoughtful design sets an expectation for the consumer before even stepping through the door. Exterior design encompasses both physical structures as well as personal and artistic designs such as paint color, roof shape and material, decks, patios, gardens, and more.
CAD DESIGN
When it comes to the details in Architecture, Spaulding Craft, Inc. has been fulfilling the requirements of national firms ranging from general contractors, interior and exterior designers, and architectural consultants to large corporations and developers for their architectural, cad design, drafting, modeling and fabrication requirements. Be it a residential, commercial or industrial project, Spaulding Craft, Inc. has a team of specialists in every domain to assist you with your project.
CAD, or computer-aided design, is a technique of designing and rendering 2D and 3D layouts and models for various purposes using a software application. This technique is used by several industries for creating various components.
FRP ENGINEERING
FRP composites are materials that provide solutions not achievable with traditional materials in new or retrofit building construction and are being used to better design, manufacture and construct building structures.
FRP composites better comply to building codes, regulations and outperform the fire performance of numerous traditional materials, as well as being a more durable, cost-effective, practical and sustainable product for architects, designers, builders and developers.
Our Process
DESIGN
We talk through the idea, develop a budget, and set up a timeline. Our team takes your concept designs and creates shop drawings, 3D models and (if necessary) takes them through the engineering approval process.
FABRICATION
Our shop features a staggering number of capabilities and vendor relationships that make nearly any feature possible. We build and test the feature in shop before the delivery date.
DELIVERY & INSTALLATION
We handle all shipping and transportation to ensure the feature is delivered on time and in pristine condition. Our team works with all local vendors and laborers, so your only job is to sign off on the final product.
